Seminole World

Many seminoles make a living by building chickees (houses) for people in Florida. A chickee is a cabin-like home that can be two-stories high sometimes. The chickees last about 10 years and needs to be re-thatched about every 5 years.  The seminoles create these buildings both commercially and privately throughout Florida to make a living. The seminoles also own many casinos and gambling facilities around florida that they now own and operate.
